G: Hi, Rick. How was your weekend?
R: My weekend? It was terrible!
G: Really? What happened?
R: Do you really want to know?
G: Of course.
R: Well, on Saturday, my mom and dad went away for the day.
G: Yeah?

R's mother: There's a pizza in the refrigerator.
R: Uh-huh.
R's father: And here's the number at Aunt Helen's.
R: Thanks, Dad.
R' mother: Cook the pizza for fifteen minutes.
R's father: See you at eleven tonight.
R's mother: And don't burn it.

G: So, what happened?
R: Well. They left at one o'clock, and I was hungry.

R: So I put a pizza in the oven.

R: And then I called Julia on the phone. We talked for about an hour.
