Zob Is Bored

“It's Sunday today. It's school tomorrow!”

“What day is it today?”

Zob is busy every week.

On Mondays Zob goes to school on Earth.

On Tuesdays he does his homework.

On Wednesdays Zob plays sports.

On Thursdays he helps his mum.

On Fridays he helps his dad.

Bored, bored! I'm so bored!

Saturday is his free day, so Zob gets up late.

He is bored because he has nothing to do.

 

Zob wants to know what Earth children do at the weekend.

“What do you want to do on Saturday and Sunday?”

“I have a dancing lesson on Saturday. ”

“I often walk my dog on Sunday. ”

The children want to know what Zob does.

“What about you? Do you go to the park?”

“Or the cinema?”

“No. Nothing. I'm bored.”

 

“You can go swimming,”says Jen.

But the water gets in Zob's eyes.

“You can play Ping-Pong,”says Billy.

But Zob can't hit the ball.

Zob tries lots of things.

But he doesn't like any of them.

Billy and Jen have one more idea.

“You can collect cards,” says Jen.

Or toys.

Or books.

But Zob doesn't want to collect any of those things.

He has a better idea!

The next Monday, Zob gets to school early.

“I collect space junk!”says Zob.

What a great idea!
